After going on a short bike ride and flying on our first zip line of the day, we arrived to the first cenote system that we would get to rappel down into. The cenote was part of the Sac-Actun cenote system. This particular one gave the opportunity to walk to it via a ladder, or for someone to rappel into the cave and land in the water. Obviously, we chose to rappel. They hooked us up and we slowly let ourselves down the wall until there was no more wall for us to touch. I felt like Indiana Jones heading to his temple. Finally, I arrived at the water and it was COLD!!!! We played in the water for a little before we had to leave and onto our next adventure.

* Thank you Troy for accompanying me on this adventure, being the biggest supporter in what I do and always being there to take the pictures for me.

WOULD I DO IT AGAIN?: This was part of a tour in Playa Del Carmen. This entire tour was WELL worth every penny!

HOW TO DO THIS: The Jungle Maya Expedition $109 for a 4-6 hour tour. http://www.alltournative.com/tours-expeditions/jungle_maya_expedition.asp
